Occasionally I will offer some of my treasured horses for sale. I prefer to show the tinier ones so generally it will be the taller horses (over 30") that will be offered. I may part with a tiny one here and there, but not too often!
I encourage prospective buyers to have a pre-purchase health examination performed by their veterinarian of choice. If you do not have a vet in mind, I can refer you to several veterinarians experienced with miniature horses in my area. The farm is easily accessible by large trailers or semi-haulers. Most horses can be boarded at my farm, at no charge, until paid in full and/or transportation services are arranged. All prices and terms are subject to change without notice. Prices may be negotiable and payments may be accepted under certain conditions. Although I strive to keep my website current, a particular horse may no longer be for sale. International inquiries are most welcome. References will be requested prior to finalizing any sale of one of my horses; excellent homes are my first priority for any horse I sell.

This gorgeous boy is a champion in waiting! He is beautiful, very correct and has a pedigree that is second to none! I'm very confident in this boy's ability to be a winning show horse and then go on to produce beautiful babies for his new owner. His dam is a direct daughter of World Reserve GRAND Champion Senior Stallion Cross Country Call Me Sir! Sir has gone on to sire many, many World Champion horses. The cross that produced his dam was repeated eight times so we know it must have been a great match for Alamos Farm. This colt's sire is the "look alike" son of Buckeroo - Little Kings Little Buckeroo - a gorgeous buckskin roan that is one of Little Kings Farm's best producing Buckeroo sons. And this colt was a repeat breeding between Toffee Snow and Junior - again, a cross that merited repeating.
This colt comes with both AMHA and AMHR papers, and a guarantee that both testicles are descended. His height is guaranteed to remain at or under 34".

Binky is a very leggy boy with a big troy and long neck. Binky has shown in halter and liberty and done well in both. Binky is a good country driving prospect. He would suit a youth very well as he really enjoys children but he's not a deadhead; he has spunk and loves to show it off in the ring! Binky's dam also produced OMP Bantam Buckeroo who earned a World Top Four in open Senior Stallions. Binky is easy to handle, is an easy keeper and would be equally happy just being someone's pet! Corona is the epitome of perfection in a tiny package! His head is gorgeous with a gentle slope from forehead to muzzle, a flashy blaze very soft eyes, and tiny, close-set ears. In addition he has a level topline, straight legs, a nice hip and a well-angled shoulder. But his most appealing physical characteristic may be his long, slender neck that is set nicely on his shoulder and arches into a tiny throatlatch! It is very rare to find such a long, slender neck on a 27.5" mature stallion/gelding. His gentle personality is just icing on the cake!
I had the pleasure to show Corona as a senior stallion. At age 7 I sent Corona to a trainer for conditioning. The result was awesome and his show record proves it. Corona is a 4X World and National Top Ten champion. He earned these titles in both open and amateur. In addition to his World/National titles, Corona was named the UNANIMOUS Champion Amateur Senior Stallion at the 2007 Eastern Regional Show. This was before the classes were split by height so Corona was showing against 34" horses! Also in 2007, Corona was named National Area IV Reserve Champion Senior Stallion - Under. This was also against 34" horses - all shown by trainers while Corona was shown by an amateur. He won his 30" & Under class and then went on to place Reserve in the Champion class. Needless to say I was so pleased to have such a tiny stallion that held his own against much taller horses in the show ring - against very tough competition.
In the spring of 2008 Corona's first foal was born. He was a gorgeous chestnut colt with a beautiful head and was the perfect twin to his father. Sadly, the little colt was born under unusual circumstances and although the mare was being watched on camera, the little guy did not get out of the sack in time. It was devastating. In the spring of 2009 Corona's second foal was born to an outside mare and the unthinkable had occurred...she was a dwarf. The poor little angel only lived for one day, but it was a blessing in disguise as she was believed to be both a type 1 and type 3 dwarf. I was heartbroken but knew what needed to be done. The foal as well as blood samples from Corona and the mare were sent to John Eberth for study and then Corona was gelded. It was a very sad time - all the hopes and dreams of the previous three years were gone in an instant - but as all who know me well understand that I believe any horse that produces a dwarf should be removed from the breeding shed.
Corona can now make some youth very happy by going in the ring and winning for them. Corona is very well-behaved and knows how to set-up and show! He also knows how to roundpen himself and is very easy to keep at show weight.

Toffee is just GOREOUS! Beautiful head, long neck, straight legs, big movement and produces beautiful babies. Add to her beauty her powerpacked pedigree and she is the perfect broodmare. Toffee is not overly friendly, but is certainly manageable for shots, farrier, worming, etc.

Sweet Pea is a living piece of history! Her sire is the late Johnstons Gold Boy, direct son of Gold Melody Boy. Sweet Pea is only 29" tall but produces very leggy, fine-boned foals. Sweet Pea is a very good mother and foals very easily on her own. She is a dominant mare and is not easy to handle when on lead. Shadow is a very sweet mare and very easy to handle. She is a good mother and can be purchased open or in foal to Spirit for an additional fee. Shadow is a Mickey Mouse granddaughter and has a great pedigree behind her. She would make a great addition to anyone's broodmare band. She is only being sold because she is one of the last mares I purchased and therefore am I not as emotionally attached to her as some of the other older broodmares. Shadow is very people-oriented and enjoys her people more than the other horses.
